The U. S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the International shipments in terms
of training, proper paperwork, labels, placards and packaging. Stiff fines and penalties, up
to $32,500 per instance, can be imposed against companies or individuals who fail to
comply with the applicable regulations. Shipping regulations state that it is the
responsibility of the shipper to ensure that all of the regulatory requirements for shipping
a package are met.
If a shipment damages or contaminates any property, the shipper will be held responsible and will reimburse
First State Couriers for any and/or all costs, fees and expenses incurred in connection with such damage or
contamination.
Shipment Refusal - First State Couriers reserve the right to refuse "Dangerous Goods" or any questionable
materials at any location where they cannot be accepted in accordance with applicable law.

Regulation - The United States Department of Transportation (DOT) regulates the Couriers ' carriers
encounter we are required by law to report the packages to the DOT. Penalties for such shipments can range
up to $500,000 and five years in jail.
